Adding the Albany Portal shortcut to Mobile:

Using Apple device

Step 1

Launch the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad and go to Portal Login. Tap the Share button on the browser's toolbar

Step 2

Tap the Add to Home Screen icon in the Share menu

Step 3

You'll be prompted to name the shortcut before tapping the Add button

Step 4

Hey presto! You have an app icon! The icon can be dragged around and placed anywhere, including in app folders - just like a normal app icon. From now on, you'll simply go to the Portal Login by clicking on this new Icon.

Using Android device

Step 1

Launch the Internet browser on your phone or tablet and go to Portal Login. Go to menu at foot of screen (N).

Step 2

At next stage go to “Add Page To”.

Step 3


Select “Home screen”. Hey presto! You have an app icon! The icon can be dragged around and placed anywhere, including in app folders - just like a normal app icon. From now on, you’ll simply go to the Portal Login by clicking on this new Icon.
